At last: Adsense

After submitting a few application, finally I am welcomed as a part of Adsense. As I said in my previous post, Adsense has many rules and regulations that one has to follow. But, it actually gives the biggest return among the other advertising programs. This was proven by many people who have succeeded in monetizing their site with Adsense and earns lots of money.

Actually, there are no actual tricks in using Adsense. You might ask how to place Adsense effectively? Some people said that you should experiment with different positioning and various styles. But, if you remember what I have told you in my very first post;

you may consider that people’s opinion is actually not so accurate.

Therefore, I will tell you on how to place your Adsense efficiently which I learned from other’s faults. But unfortunately, this is just the introduction. So, do come back here for this important post which will be available soon.

Adsense application rejected?

Recently, I have applied for Adsense and my application has been rejected twice. This is what they replied to me:

Thank you very much for your interest in AdSense. Our goal is to be able to extend our service to as many web publishers as we can. Unfortunately, after reviewing www.i-want-to-be-a-millionaire.blogspot.com , we are unable to accept it into our AdSense program at this time for the reasons related to:

-Unacceptable site content

As per our program policies, ( https://www.google.com/adsense/policies ) sites may not contain incentives (monetary or point-based) to users or third-party beneficiaries for online activity including, but not limited to, clicking on ads or links, performing searches, surfing websites, reading emails, or completing surveys.

We review all publishers, and we reserve the right to decline certain applications. Currently, we may not accept all sites. As we grow, we may find that we are able to expand our program to more web publishers with a wider variety of web content.

However, if you are able to resolve these issues, we'll be happy to review your application anew. Please resubmit your application at http://www.google.com/adsense. Log in using the email address and password you submitted with your application, click 'Resubmit' and we'll reconsider your application.

Therefore, since I need Adsense to monetize my site, I have to remove some of my posts regarding Studiotraffic and Cashfiesta. After this, my post will mainly base on other ways to make money online. How to generate money from your blog

Like I said in the post last Sunday, you can make serious cash from your blog. Before, I used to think on how to earn lots of cash online and become a millionaire. As I surf the internet, I found there are lots of ways to ‘print’ some good dollars. But, the information are scattered around the web. It is quite hard to get the accurate info. Therefore, I was thinking if I can group these things together and write it in my own, easy-to-understand way.

Here are some of things that you can do to generate money from your blog:

1. Selling ad space- This can be done easily as there are lots of sites that can help you to find advertisers. That means, you don’t have to find the advertiser by yourselves which will waste your precious time. Some of good programs are: Paid-to-promote, Adbrite and Adsense. But, I don’t really like Adsense as they have too many rules to follow. As for Paid-to promote (which is CPM program) and Adbrite, you have more control on how you generate your traffic. If you have bigger blog which can generate, let say 30,000 or more impressions per month, you have better choices like Fastclick and Chitika. For a small blog like mine, Paid-to-promote and Adbrite are good choices.

2. Affiliate program- Affiliate program is a program that functions just like a direct selling advertising. You are the direct seller who sells the products of bigger firms. In this blog, there is a Search Amazon box on you right. I’m an affiliate of Amazon.com which means Amazon is my virtual ‘boss’. Sounds cool right? But the important thing is, if a person purchase something from this blog, I will get some cash from that sale. There are lots of sites that need affiliate out there. I will post some of them here in the future.

3. Sell your own product- Sometimes, you should consider the traditional method which is selling your own product. I’m not the best person to write about this, so I think it is better to leave it to others. But, what I can suggest here is try to publish e-books as the demand for this product is quite good and the cost is reasonably low.

Actually, these are just a small list on how you can make money through your blog. I will keep posting on how to generate money and become a millionaire in the future. So, do come back for updates.

Make money from blogging?

Did you know that you can really make huge money from blogging? I can’t believe it either but that is the fact. There are lots of people who make thousand dollars through their blog out there. And that is why I set up this blog:- to earn some money which will lead me to achieve my dream as a millionaire.

So, how to make a blog that ‘prints’ cash for you? There are several things that you have to take into account. Some of them are:-

1. Write a good, original content- For any website (including blog), content is the ‘king’. Your visitors want something new, something that other blog do not offer. If you just simply cut and paste from other sites, you might have to forget about your dream to become a millionaire.

2. Be consistent- This means that you HAVE to produce at least 3 post a week. Why? Because if a visitor landed to your blog and see the same content, they might think that you are not serious enough to make a blog. As a result, you traffic will channel to other blogs that offer something ‘fresh’ for them. This means you have lost some of your potential earnings. Again, you are far from becoming the next millionaire.

3. Be patient- You cannot expect to receive thousands of readers tomorrow if you just start blogging today. It’s quite impossible as your popularity in cyberspace is built over time. It is like dreaming to become the next millionaire in the next morning by starting to work as a garbage collector today. If you have a good content, people will come back again and again, and that is when your popularity ‘boom’.

4. Learn from the expert- Do not hesitate to ask. You may wonder why I said that as there people always said that ‘learn from your mistake’. In my personal opinion, I do not really agree with that. As I said in my first post, I like to think that ‘excel people learn from their mistakes, smart people learn from others' mistakes’. Why bother to fail if you can learn from others’ failure? Millionaire’s wannabe, think about it.

5. Promote your blog- Actually, this is the most important thing after the content-rich post. First, take a deep breath and think, if you have a really beautiful girlfriend but you have not tell anyone about it; would your friends know about it? Yeah maybe there are some but not the majority. Same goes to your blog. You should tell the world that you have a really great blog that people must see. Don’t just sit and wait as it is the worst thing that you should do.

So, do not wait any longer. React now before you get older and die (I’m not saying that you will die tomorrow). Follow the others who have excelled in their journey to become a millionaire. I think that is enough for now. I will write more on how to write a great blog and how to promote your blog effectively in the future. And maybe some other tips that can benefit you and me.
